Trellix Threat Intelligence Exchange (TIE) 4.7.0 release includes new features and resolved issues.

This release includes all features and fixes from the previous release. We recommend that you always upgrade to the most current update.

This release upgrades the following libraries:

New features and changes

This release provides support for the following enhancements:

Support for Internet Protocol version IPv6 — This release supports both IPv4 and IPv6 Internet Protocol versions, allowing you to choose the preferred network. By default, the TIE server uses IPv4. Once IPv6 is installed and enabled, the TIE server will operate in the configured mode accordingly. For more information about supported Internet protocols, see the Trellix TIE 4.7.x Installation Guide.

File Types filtering for Trellix IVX on-premises and Trellix IVX Cloud submissions — A new File Types filter option allows you to specify the types of files sent to IVX on-premises or IVX Cloud, which helps prevent unnecessary file submissions for sandboxing.

The IVX Cloud configuration no longer shows a password validation error when users add secondary IVX server credentials.

On the TIE Reputation page, the Where was file used details no longer display GUID values for systems. This now shows data for files and their associated machines where the files were triggered.

In Reputation Cache mode, TIE servers no longer experience sandboxing submission failures with Intelligent Sandbox, IVX, or IVX Cloud.

TIE Server Topology no longer displays the error " TIE Server couldn't establish a connection to IVX Cloud server" when you set the IVX Cloud API key expiry date to Never.
