Updating the configuration when Helix ID is changed

When Helix ID is changed, the Event Streamer configuration must be updated. Otherwise, The module will continue to use any old values that existed previously.

To update the configuration:

  1. Navigate to the Endpoint Security (HX) controller’s website and select Admin > Policies.

  2. Select the policy that includes the Event Streamer module.

  3. Navigate to the Helix configuration page where the new Helix ID is displayed. If the information is correct, save the policy. This allows the module to begin using the new ID.

Note

It may take few minutes for the new configuration to be updated and for the module to begin sending data to the new server.
