In the SmartVision appliance Web UI, the Notification Settings page contains five tabs:
Use the Notification Settings page to view and configure the Trellix event notification services.
Summary
Use this tab to globally enable or disable each of the four Trellix event notification methods (syslog messages, SMTP email, SNMP traps, and HTTP posts to Web servers) and to globally enable or disable Trellix event notifications for specific network event types. All four notification methods are globally enabled by default.
The Summary tab for a SmartVision Edition appliance is different from that of a SmartVision-enabled Network Security sensor or integrated appliance.
RSYSLOG
Use this tab to view and configure the syslog notification service and manage syslog servers that consume network event notifications from the service.
SMTP
Use this tab to view and configure the SMTP notification service and manage SMTP servers that consume network event notifications from the service.
SNMP
Use this tab to view and configure the SNMP notification service, download the Trellix SNMP MIB file, and manage SNMP trap sinks that consume network event notifications from the service.
HTTP
Use this tab to view and configure the HTTP notification service and manage HTTP servers that consume network event notifications from the service.
