Creating and configuring settings for a custom report

You can create and configure the report settings for your custom reports by using the Central Management System appliance Web UI:

Follow these usage guidelines when you configure the report settings for your custom reports:

  • Output the report in XML, PDF, CSV, or JSON format

  • Associate only one logo with a PDF-formatted custom report

  • Specify a title and description that can include letters (a–z, A–Z), numbers, dashes (-), underscores (_), and commas (,).

  • Set the time period the report covers. By default, the custom report display time zone is UTC and is set for the past 24 hours.

  • Automatically generate reports on a schedule and email them to designated recipients

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Web UI of the Central Management System appliance as Admin, Analyst, or Monitor
