Pivoting to a filtered list of Malware Callback alerts

From the Critical Malware Detection panel of the dashboard, you can pivot to the corresponding list of Malware Callback alerts.

For details about the malware alerts list, see the “Monitoring Alerts and Hosts” chapter of the Network Security User Guide.

The appliance is a SmartVision-enabled Network Security sensor or integrated appliance.
The Critical Malware Detection panel includes Callback Hosts.
Admin access to the SmartVision appliance.

To pivot from MVX ‑ [VM Detected Hosts] to the list of corresponding VM-detected hosts:

Log in to the appliance Web UI and select Dashboard.
Click the MVX ‑ [VM Detected Hosts] segment of the pie chart.
This example is from a SmartVision-enabled Network Security sensor or integrated appliance. SmartVision Edition appliances do not detect callback activities.
The Alerts > Alerts > Alerts page appears. The list is filtered to display the Malware Callback alerts counted in the Critical Malware Detection panel.
(Optional) View details about an individual alert by clicking the alert entry.
(Optional) Download the details about a single alert to an XML file:
1. Select the checkbox for the alert entry.
2. Select Actions > Download XML in the upper-right corner.
3. Save the file to your local system.
