You can specify the protocols (from the list of supported Packet Capture protocols) whose metadata is received by your Network Detection and Response appliance.
To update the Packet Capture metadata selection:
Log in to the Network Detection and Response Web UI.
Navigate to MANAGE > Configure System > Packet Capture Metadata.
Click the gear icon (under the Actions column) corresponding to the PX appliance to select the appropriate protocols whose metadata is received.
Click Update Metadata.
In the Packet Capture Login screen, enter the administrator credentials for the Packet Capture appliance to authenticate the metadata selection, and then click LOGIN & Update.
In the Metadata Selection page, select the Packet Capture protocols corresponding to which the metadata is transferred to your Network Detection and Response appliance, and then click UPDATE.
A confirmation message is displayed if the update is successful.
