You can email details of an incident to make them available to those who don’t have access to ePO - SaaS.
Note
Emails have an attachment size limit of 10MB. If the file is larger use the incident download option. The maximum number of incidents that can be emailed at one time is 100. Take care when emailing sensitive information, as the .zip file is not encrypted.
In ePO - SaaS Protection Workspace, click incidents in Data Protection Overview to open the incident management workspace.
Select the checkbox in the Incidents pane of the incident whose details you want to email. You can also select multiple incidents to send multiple emails by selecting more than one checkbox.
The Incident Details pane opens.
To email incident details, either:
Click the Take Action drop down at the top right of the Incidents pane and select Email Incident.
Click the three dots menu at the top of the Incident Details pane and select Email Incident from the drop down.
The Email Options pane opens.
The Details section is expanded by default. Select the checkboxes for the intended recipients of the email. Select the checkbox next to Other and type the addresses in the free text box. Use a comma to separate multiple addresses.
Adding a subject line in the Subject textbox is mandatory. It is optional to enter text in the Body textbox.
In the Attachments section, select the checkboxes of the items you want to attach to the email.
Click Send at the bottom of the Email Options pane.
A notification appears in the Protection Workspace header reporting the email was sent successfully.
