Support for Mac ARM architecture

With the release of v36 agent, the Host Remediation module supports Mac ARM architecture.

    Resolved issues

    The following issues were resolved in the Host Remediation module 2.3.2 release.

    Tracking number

    ENDPT-102514

    The Host Remediation module version was not visible in the Host Remediation module dashboard. This issue has been resolved.

    ENDPT-104362

    The multiline input and output command was getting cropped when output was displayed. This issue has been resolved.

    Known issues

    The following issues are known in the Host Remediation module 2.3.2 release.

    Tracking number

    Summary

    ENDPT-60508

    Connection from the Host Remediation module to endpoint agents using HXD is currently not supported.

    ENDPT-99852

    On a macOS machine with SIP enabled, a script or terminal command is not allowed to write to a file on the base landing directory.

    ENDPT-102603

    After a module upgrade, macOS agents and Linux agents do not show a Ready to remediate status. Refresh the page to remedy this.

    ENDPT-102102

    The Host Remediation module cannot establish connection with a contained Linux host. The connection can be established only by adding HX IP address to Allowed IP list in containment setting.

    Note

    Installing the Host Remediation module 2.3.2 on Endpoint Security (HX) earlier than v5.3.0 or with Endpoint Security Agent (HX) earlier than v35, is not supported.

    Connections to Endpoint Agents using HXD are not supported.

    This release supports the following licenses:

    • Trellix Endpoint Power Edition license.

    • Trellix Endpoint Managed Defense license.

    Note

    Trellix Endpoint Essentials Edition license is not supported.
