Endpoint Security (HX) xAgent allows you to group your endpoints into host sets that allow you to manage the flow of information between xAgents and the Endpoint Security (HX) server. You can use host sets to manage agent configurations and policy settings for all endpoints in your environment. For example, if you want to exclude malware protection for specific endpoints in your environment, you can create a host set for these endpoints and assign a custom exclusion policies that disables Malware Protection. xAgents running on endpoints assigned to this host set will not perform malware protection functions.
You can create a host set that includes one or more host endpoints. See the Endpoint Security (HX) Server User Guide for more information on creating and managing host sets.
Use the Web UI Host Sets page to create a new host set, assign agent policies to host sets, view host set and host details, edit host sets, and delete host sets.
