You can create a Trellix Smart Installer URL on ePO - On-prem System Tree and distribute the URL to the endpoint users to install Trellix Agent.
On the ePO - On-prem console, select → → , then select New Systems.
Select Create URL for client-side agent download.
Enter a custom URL name.
Select the appropriate Agent version for Windows or Non-Windows (Mac or Linux) operating systems from the list.
Assign a specific Agent Handler to communicate with ePO - On-prem for deployment:
All Agent Handlers: Randomly select an Agent Handler to communicate with ePO - On-prem.
Select Agent Handler: Select an Agent handler (primary) from the list.
Optionally, if the agents are unable to communicate with the primary agent handler, select Secondary Agent Handler.
Click OK. You can use the Agent Deployment URL to install Smart Installer or send the URL to your endpoint users.
After receiving the installation URL, a user can open browser to access the installation URL, and then download and run the installer.
