The following filters are available in the Filters pane:
SAVED HOST SETS allows you to filter on host sets you have already created
All Hosts allows you to filter on all the hosts managed by the Endpoint Security (HX)
Agent Version allows you to filter by the version of the agent
Domain allows you to filter by the domain
Active Directory: Domain Components allows you to filter by the domain components currently in the environment
Active Directory: Organizational Units allows you to filter by the organizational units currently in the environment
Active Directory: Common Names allows you to filter by the common names in the environment using regular expressions
OS & Patch allows you to filter by the operating system and patch level
Bit level allows you to filter by the bitness (32-bit or 64-bit) of the host
Cloud Provider allows you to filter cloud hosts by the provider
Timezone allows you to filter by the time zone
Subnet allows you to filter by host subnets
Hostname allows you to filter by hostname
Last Sysinfo allows you to filter by the last date a sysinfo task was run for the host. Sysinfo tasks run at regular intervals and transfer information from the Endpoint Security (HX) xAgent to the Endpoint Security (HX).
When you select a filter, additional filter criteria may appear in the Filter Criteria pane:
Specific filter criteria related to the filter you selected. Select one or more of these to further filter the hosts included in a host group.
A field for directly entering expressions to search Subnet or Hostname filters.
A Create Expression link that allows you to enter expressions to search the Domain, OS & Patch, Timezone, Subnet, Hostname, or Last Sysinfo filters. Press CTRL+Click to select multiple expressions.
Search options for hosts that are or are not audited in optional time ranges (Last Sysinfo filters).
Log in to the Endpoint Security (HX) Web UI.
On the Manage Hosts menu, select Host Sets.
Hover over the Create Host Set button, and select Using set builder.
The Create Standard Set page appears.
In the Filters pane, at the bottom of the page, select a filter in the list on the left side.
Criteria for the filter appear in the center filter criteria pane. These may include areas where you can enter expressions for the filter. Press CTRL+Click to select multiple expressions. For more information, see Creating a standard set using filter expressions.
Specify your filter criteria.
The Set Navigator circle, on the right side, shows the hosts that match the filters you have selected. This is the host group.
Drag the Set Navigator circle to the Result Set circle.
You have now created a standard set that contains one host group.
Define more host groups using the filters in the Filters and Filter Criteria panes. Drag the Set Navigator circle to the Set Visualizer each time to add another host group to the standard set.

When you have finished adding host groups to the standard set, specify the relationships between them in the Set Visualizer. For more information, see Manipulating relations between host groups in a standard set.
Enter a name in the Set Name box, and then click Create.
The standard set, containing one or more host groups, is created.
Log in to the Endpoint Security (HX) Web UI.
On the Manage Hosts menu, select Host Sets.
Locate the host set in the Host Sets pane, and click the Edit icon.
In the Set Builder view, Alt+Click the host you want to remove from the host set.
