Creating standard sets

You can create and edit standard sets using Endpoint Security (HX) set builder tools and functional areas on the Create Standard Set page.

In general, you create host sets by filtering the list of provisioned hosts using the Filters and Filter Criteria areas. The Set Navigator displays the number of hosts that meet your criteria in the blue circle. Drag the blue circle in the Set Navigator to the Result Set circle in the Set Visualizer. Finally, use the Set Visualizer to combine groups of hosts and adjust their relationships.

Note

You can create a host set that has only one host. Doing so lets you administer that host for special cases (for example, to apply a custom policy).
