Endpoint Upgrade Assistant 2.12 is Trellix branded and removes install blocks based on the OS.

This release is cumulative and includes all features and fixes from the previous release. We recommend that you always upgrade to the most current update.

We recommend that you always upgrade EUA with the latest release as soon as possible.

  • Windows 7 SP1 To Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11

  • Third party Deployment Tools

1 Using Endpoint Upgrade Assistant to upgrade from Windows 7 can fail when Windows Update KB3033929 has not been applied. Windows Update KB3033929 adds the required SHA256 certificate support to Windows 7 and resolves this issue.


Changes in this release

New features

  • There are no new features in this release. For branding changes customers may see references to McAfee in product names, where they might expect to see Trellix. This is expected as the official names of such products included the word McAfee.

Removed features

  • This release removes checks for compatibility between ENS and Windows versions
