Enables or disables the request modification mode (REQMOD) for the Internet Content Adaptation Protocol (ICAP) service.
When you enable REQMOD for the ICAP service on the Network Security appliance, a third-party device, acting as an ICAP client, can send an ICAP-encapsulated HTTP request to the Network Security appliance acting as an ICAP server. When you disable REQMOD for the ICAP service on the Network Security appliance, a 204 response code is sent to the ICAP client.
Note
By default, the request modification mode is enabled for the ICAP service.
