icap-service max-connections

Configures the maximum number of simultaneous connections allowed on the Network Security appliance acting as an Internet Content Adaptation Protocol (ICAP) server. The maximum number of connections that you can configure is specific to each appliance model.

For details about how to configure the maximum number of ICAP connections, see the "Configuring Threat Management" chapter of the Network Security User Guide.

Syntax

icap-service max-connections <number_of_connections>

Parameters

<number_of_connections>

The maximum number of ICAP connections can range from 25 to 500. By default, the maximum number of ICAP connections is 25.

Example

The following example sets the maximum number of simultaneous connections to 25.

hostname (config) # icap-service max-connections 25
