Perform a warm or cold firmware reload. Reloading the firmware is sometimes needed to return the IPMI service to a functional state.
If an update has been interrupted by a reload, repeat the update. If the update fails, please contactTrellix customer service.
Caution
Do not reload the IPMI firmware, reload the system, or turn the power off and on while a firmware update is in progress because an incomplete firmware update will make the IPMI interface inoperative. Usually, you can recover from interrupted updates by entering the ipmi firmware update latest command again. However, in some cases of incomplete updates, you might have to shut down and disconnect the system power for a period of time or, in rare cases, contact FireEye Support.
Syntax
ipmi firmware reload {warm | cold}
Parameters
warm
Reload the IPMI firmware without interrupting the power.
cold
Reload the IPMI firmware and physically turn off the power and turn it back on again.
