Enables an integrated appliance to operate in MVX "hybrid" mode, in which the appliance uses its on-board MVX analysis engine for detection and analysis until a predefined capacity threshold is reached. It then sends submissions to an MVX cluster for detection and analysis until the capacity is again below the threshold.
By default, ether1 is the submission interface (used for communication between the appliance and the MVX cluster). Trellix recommends that you configure another management interface (such as ether2) for the submission interface. This prevents the ether1 management interface from becoming too busy, and keeps management and data traffic separate.
If you change from sensor mode to hybrid mode, must reload the appliance for the change to take effect.
Note
An integrated appliance is a physical appliance with an on-board MVX analysis engine.
