TIE software is compatible with IPv4 and IPv6.
The TIE server work in two different modes:
Only IPv4 — Supports only IPv4 address format.
Only IPv6 — Supports only IPv6 address format.
Dual stack mode — Supports IPv4 and IPv6 address formats.
The mode in which your TIE server works depends on your network configuration. The TIE server operates exclusively in either IPv4 or IPv6 mode, determined by the network protocols. It cannot use both simultaneously.
Until IPv6 is enabled, your TIE server uses only IPv4 addresses. When IPv6 is enabled, it works in the mode in which it is configured.
