Generally, sites with fewer agents can set the sysinfo frequency lower than sites with many xAgents. However, performance issues can occur if the sysinfo frequency is set too low. If Endpoint Security (HX) server performance seems slow in your environment, consider increasing the sysinfo frequency.
The frequency initially distributed with the Endpoint Security (HX) xAgent software is 14,400 seconds (4 hours).
Note
If your organization has upgraded from early versions of the xAgent, check this frequency setting. Early versions of the xAgent software were distributed with this frequency set to 30 minutes. The distributed setting was changed with Endpoint Security version 2.6.
