tacacs-server host

Prev Next

Adds a TACACS+ server to the appliance configuration using the default port number (49). The TACACS+ server is enabled by default after it is added to the configuration. The no form of the command removes a TACACS+ server from the configuration.

Note

You can add multiple TACACS+ servers to an appliance. The appliance contacts the servers in the order in which they were added. If the first server in the list is unreachable, the appliance contacts the next server, and so on.

To configure multiple services on a single TACACS+ server, use the tacacs-server host <ip address> auth-port command and specify a unique UDP port for each service.
