tacacs-server host <ip address> auth-port <port number> enable

Enables or disables a TACACS+ server on the specified port. A TACACS+ server is enabled by default after it is added to the appliance configuration. You can also use the no form of the command to add a TACACS+ server that is initially disabled.

Syntax

[no] tacacs-server host <ip address> auth-port <port number> enable

Parameters

no

Use the no form of this command to disable a TACACS+ server or add a new TACACS+ server that is initially disabled.

ip address

Specify the IPv4 address of the TACACS+ server.

port number

Specify the UDP port number. The default is 49. Valid values are 1–65535.

Example

The following example disables the specified TACACS+ server.

hostname (config) # no tacacs-server host 172.16.1.1 auth-port 490 enable
