To upgrade from Trellix EDR to EDRF while retaining custom policies, the process involves migrating the policies before deploying the new EDRF Client. Upgrade the Trellix EDR policies to EDRF policies using one of two methods:

Before upgrading, make sure you have completed the following steps.

  1. Install DXL Broker

  2. Install EDR extensions

  3. Link ePO - On-prem to ePO - SaaS via Cloud Bridge

  4. Add HX Server to ePO - On-prem

  5. Configure Helix Connect Client

Upgrade the Trellix EDR policies to EDRF policies using one of two methods:
