Upgrade from Trellix EDR to EDRF

To upgrade from Trellix EDR to EDRF and retain your custom policy configurations, you must first upgrade the policies before deploying the EDRF Client.

Before upgrading from Trellix EDR to EDRF, make sure you have completed the following steps.

  1. Add HX Server to ePO - SaaS

  2. Configure Helix Connect Client

Prerequisites

Ensure your user account has the following roles assigned:

  • Trellix EDR Administrator

  • Trellix API Search API Access

  • Trellix EDR with Forensics Policy Manager

  • Trellix ePO Administrator

After adding the user roles and permissions, upgrade from Trellix EDR policies to EDRF policies using one of the following methods:
