You can upgrade to Trellix Agent 5.8.x on the client systems using multiple deployment methods. Before upgrading to the latest version of Trellix Agent, make sure you update the extensions and software packages on the ePO - On-prem server.
Upgrade to Trellix Agent 5.8.x using one of the following methods:
Using Trellix Agent installation package.
You can also create a customized Smart Installer to upgrade Trellix Agent on the client systems.
Note:
You can update the Trellix Agent key updater package while upgrading Trellix Agent to a new version.
The DXL client automatically upgrades when Trellix Agent is upgraded. For more information, see Upgrading the DXL client.
