Why do the exclusions in the Process Guard policy not work?
There could be some limitations with wildcard matching and system environment variables in excluded paths as the matching is not greedy and environment variables are limited to scope defined (System, User and Process).
For Process Guard 1.5.x and earlier, make sure that the excluded process paths are absolute file paths that include the drive letter, for example C:\Windows\System32\TaskMgr.exe. Other file path types such as folder paths and wildcard paths are considered invalid and not supported.
