To enable the Packet Capture appliances (paired with your NDR appliance) to communicate with your NDR appliance, you need to generate the SSH keys in your NDR appliance and transfer them to all the paired Packet Capture appliances. Your NDR appliance can then receive the Packet Capture search data.
To generate and transfer the SSH keys from your NDR appliance to all the connected Packet Capture appliances:
Log in to the NDR Web UI.
Navigate to MANAGE > Configure System > Packet Capture Metadata.
Click GENERATE SSH KEYS.
If the SSH key already exists, the following message is displayed:
/data/config/ia/keys/<iatunnel_tunnel> already exists. Do you want to overwrite?. Click OK.In the Packet CaptureP Login screen, enter the administrator credentials for the displayed Packet Capture appliance to authenticate the transfer of the SSH key to the Packet Capture appliance and click NEXT.
Continue to enter the administrator credentials for all the other Packet Capture appliances that are displayed in the wizard to authenticate the transfer of the SSH keys to all the paired Packet Capture appliances.
Click LOGIN & TRANSFER.
A confirmation message is displayed if the transfer is successful.
