This procedure provides the steps to configure a GitHub application connector. You can add multiple configurations for the same application if your organization manages multiple GitHub organizations or accounts.
Click Add to open the configuration card for a new application connector.
Name: Assign a descriptive name for this specific configuration.
Navigate to the Parameters tab and set Authentication parameters:
GitHub Organization: Provide the name of the organization
Click Next.
Navigate to HTTP tab and set Authentication parameters:
URL: Define the GitHub API endpoint. For example, https://api.github.com.
Auth Type: Select Bearer Token as the authentication method.
Bearer Token: Enter the required token for authentication.
Click Next to continue or Cancel to discard changes.
Navigate to Edge tab and select an appropriate Edge from the list. For example, trellix-default.
Tip
You can use the Auto Detect button to find and list available edges.
Click Save.
The GitHub connector is now configured and ready to be used in Workflows and Federated Search.
