Before you upgrade

Ensure to back up the existing ePO - On-prem 5.10.0 setup.
Ensure to migrate SHA-1 to SHA-2. For instructions on how to migrate, see KB87017.
Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012 are not supported from this release. For complete system requirements, see supported platforms for ePO - On-prem 5.10.0 (KB51569).
Applicable for update 5 and 6: Upgrade DXL Brokers and Extensions to 6.1.1
Note
If the user wants to install/upgrade OnPrem ePO SP1 Update 5/6, it is mandatory to upgrade DXL Brokers and Extensions to 6.1.1. It is recommended to upgrade all the DXL Brokers to 6.1.1 before upgrading DXL Extensions to 6.1.1.
After upgrading the 6.1.1 DXL Brokers and Extensions if any connectivity issues encountered please restart the ePO services. For more information, see KB14602.
