show interfaces <portName>

When the supported appliance is operating in layer 3 mode, this command displays the status and traffic statistics for the specified monitoring port.

Note

The following Network Security virtual appliances support layer 3 mode: NX 2500V, NX 2501V, NX 2550V, NX 4500V, and NX 6500V.

You can also view a brief summary of the status information (no traffic statistics) or just the interface configuration.

Syntax

show interfaces <portName> [brief | configured]

Parameters

<portName>

The monitoring port, such as pether3, for which the status and traffic statistics are to be dfisplayed.

brief

(Optional) Displays a brief summary of the status information (no traffic statistics).

configured

(Optional) Displays just the configured settings for the enabled interfaces.

Examples

The following commands show that pether3 and pether4 are mapped to network namespace vrfA. In this example, static routes have not yet been configured for vrfA.
