Trellix Agent bundles the Trellix Data Exchange Layer client as a component.
The Trellix DXL client is automatically installed on managed systems and connects to DXL broker in your environment. If the DXL broker is not present in your environment, the DXL client goes into an idle mode where it consumes minimal resources until brokers become present. DXL services run as part of Trellix Agent services.
